    Dear Ben: as a humorous addition to your head-banging and box dropping, I add this poem I wrote several years ago after breaking three toes on my right foot, planted on the ground while my left foot was atop a heavy log on the pile. My positioning dislodging the log, and unable to move my grounded right foot, I had to take the blow. Here is the poem:
    Gaining Wisdom
    By the time they break three toes,
    most men learn
    not to fill the wood box wearing slippers;
    most women by two, some say one.
    Women claim they learn faster;
    men contend they learn
    two to three times better.
